Electronic Fuel Pump as used in our car for 100,000 miles and 18 years and still going strong. We know of one Triumph Stag owner who has had 25 years use out of one of these.
Excellent way to deliver fuel to Stag carburettors. Screw on the plastic mounting disc and it fits straight in.
Matches fuel line banjos as it has correct alignment of inlet and outlet ports.
PLEASE ENSURE FUEL IS CLEAN. Please check your fuel filter and if full of rust particles please sweep your tank with a magnetic wand or fit a fuel filter tank side of the pump.
Please note there are several Part numbers for this type of pump and we list some of them above.
The manufacturer claims that controlled tests have proven these pumps to out perform other well known brands in terms of reliability.
Provides a reassuring ticking at idle.
Also suits other vehicles with AUF300 series pumps with parallel ports, MGB etc.
Made in strong plastic there is nothing to corrode.
Four nylon washers are supplied , and you will probably not need to buy four fibre washers (see 108346N)
Use with mounting plate A and screws B. (See photo 2)
Fit flat face of disc to pump.
Use 1/2 x5/16 UNF mounting screws in place of original mounting screws which are too long. See HU804 Also WM58 packing washers [2 per set screw] to prevent the pump body fouling the nut on the bobbin, although we ran ours for 18 years before noticing this.
Twist and pull port protection plugs out by hand, do not lever with a screwdriver as this will damage the mating sealing face of the port.
Discard the body mounting bracket when used in a Stag. This is included in case it is required for other applications.
The connecting wires will need to have crimped or soldered terminals fitted to match the connectors on the loom.
The instructions also refer to a restrictor. This is not supplied in all pump kits and can be discarded when found, as it is only for fuel lines returning to the tank.
