Find those coolant leaks with a UV torch and this dye.
Leak Detection fluid for coolant. This is a substance that is approved by Motor Vehicle Manufacturers for detecting fluid leaks.
The part number refers to a box of 6 1/4 oz Bottles, and one bottle is used per process. So if it is the radiator, the water pump, the inlet manifold gaskets, hoses etc you have six treatments and can keep going until everything is repaired. .
An idea would be for a group of owners or friends to share the cost of one of these for a club night leak detection event.
We do not suppose many of these get used on modern cars, but Stags, well we have a funny feeling we will be reordering stock quite soon.
The dye remover is a separate product that is squirted on to wash away the dye.
You will need a UV leak detection torch.
