Automatic Selector Plate Repair Boss 722693BF

Offered for use in repairing broken selector plate screw inserts.

To use -

Mark position of hole at edge of plate with tiny piece of masking tape.

Very carefully remove broken insert and plastic tower with a minature grinding bit. The white dot in image 2 shows this when completed

Place Repair Boss so its hole is exactly where the original one was.

Make a Bluetac fence around the base of the boss
Pour mixed liquid polyester resin over the perforations in the base of the Boss. (Davids Fastglass Resin)

Cure for one day.

Use screw 518352M to fix.

Note, as the boss is lower than original you may need to make up a fat washer from a piece of plastic or rubber.
